Becky and I came to the Church of Joy with our two children, Jonathan and Cassa, in November 2000.  I served as the Associate Pastor/Youth Pastor for 14 years and had the privilege of becoming Senior Pastor in November 2014. 
Shepherding this wonderful body of believers is an honor, and I am thankful to be a part of the family at JOY. 
I believe that being a part of the Body of Christ is vitally important for each of us.  We are called to be a part of each others lives and when we do it right, we are the greatest testimony of the love of God in this modern age.  So may we persevere in the Word together, grow stronger in our faith and family, boldly proclaiming our love for God and our love for others.

I became a member of the Church of Joy when I married my wife, Stevie in 2009. COJ has been instrumental in preparing us for the call of God in our lives. I’ve been passionate about, and felt called to youth ministry since I accepted Christ in my teen years.
Stevie and I go after God's will like nobody's business. God has done so much in and through our lives. We're passionate for the cause of the orphan and adoption.  God has walked with us through the personal joy of adoption and also the grief of losing our adopted son to cancer.
We love this church body. The Church of Joy has truly been a family to us, and we couldn't be more thankful for everyone here. Come find my wife and I on a Wednesday or Sunday , we'd love to tell you more of our story and walk with you through yours.
